Seniors: Welch neglects north side

GALLUP — A group of senior citizens from the Northside Senior Center want city Recreation and Special Projects Director Ben Welch relieved of responsibility with respect to the city’s two senior citizen centers because Welch has not overseen each in an equitable fashion, according to a written petition presented by the group at Tuesday’s regular city meeting.
